Conceived by renowned Montreal architects Gilles Saucier and Andre Perrotte, River City Phase 1 is a darkly beautiful structure with a modern sensibility, and a nod to the industrial nature of the area’s past. It combines bold forms and playful angles, dark panels and transparent glass, and raw materials and soft landscaping, all in ways that reflect River City’s unique surroundings.
Phase 1 is made up of two buildings, each with soaring lobbies and high-design amenities. The buildings are connected via a three storey enclosed bridge, similar to the industrial design of warehouse buildings in New York, Chicago and Montreal. Like people, these buildings fit in by being completely unique – and truly themselves.
